Welcome to the AliasAsia website

AliasAsia was set up by David Williams and Helen Stagoll in November 2005 to enable them to pursue their interest in and love of Asian textiles.

All of the textiles we have on offer are manufactured by traditional processes largely by hand. They have all been sourced and selected by us. They are Indian in origin, produced largely in the western desert states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. No two items are exactly the same (check out ABOUT – OUR PRODUCTS).

They are for sale (check out ABOUT - HOW TO BUY) but we want this website to be more than just an online shop. We also wish to educate and provide the opportunity for people to appreciate beautiful handmade articles and artworks and to find more about the textiles, the processes and the people who make them (Check out RAJASTHAN LINKS)
